Taily ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. Data We Collect

When you use Taily, we may collect:

• Account information — your display name (no email required for anonymous sign-in)
• Household data — pet names, task lists, activity logs, and notes you create
• Photos — images you voluntarily attach to task completions or pet profiles
• Device token — your FCM push token for household notifications
• Usage data — anonymous crash reports and performance metrics via Firebase

2. How We Use Your Data

• To provide and sync household pet care features across devices
• To send push notifications to household members when tasks are completed
• To improve app stability through anonymized crash analytics

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your data. Data is shared only:

• Within your household (members you explicitly invite)
• With Firebase / Google (our backend infrastructure provider)
• With Apple (for in-app purchases and push delivery)

4. Data Storage

Your data is stored in Google Firebase Firestore and Firebase Storage, hosted in the EU region. Photos are automatically compressed to a maximum of 500 KB.

5. Data Retention

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You can request deletion at any time by leaving your household and contacting us — all personal data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.

6. Children's Privacy

Taily is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your region, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at yusasarisoy@icloud.com.

8. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll notify you of significant changes via the app.
